Ian Ekblaw is a Venture Partner at Aurelia Foundry. He works with mission-driven founders who are rearchitecting industries, with specific focus on hardware and deep tech.

Prior to Aurelia Foundry, Ian worked at Google and multiple small to medium tech startups. Most recently, Ian worked as employee number one at an AI startup, spun out of MIT, building alternate scaling to general intelligence.

Ian earned his Bachelor’s degree at University of California Berkeley in Geophysics and continued his research as a scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
